We were tasked to come up with recruitment and retainment strategies for adolescent women exploring their sexuality, and to create an environment where they can take a PrEP HIV pill without being wrongfully criticized or judged by others.
Our recruitment and retainment strategies had to be discreet and simple. Our calendar compartment idea was an excellent way for participants to take a monthly pill without drawing attention to themselves.
For people with access to social media, we created a time-based reward application. We also used Google and Facebook ads as our recruitment strategy.
